The FlipDash Title & Registration Hub is a workflow organization and document management tool only. FlipDash is not a DMV, title agency, escrow service, law firm, or licensed registration processor. We do not file documents with any government agency on your behalf.
1. What the Title & Registration Hub Is
The Title & Registration Hub is a checklist, task management, and document storage tool designed to help vehicle dealers organize and track the paperwork involved in title and registration workflows. It gives you a centralized place to:
- •Record and monitor the title and registration status for each vehicle in your inventory
- •Upload and store digital copies of documents for your own internal reference
- •Track checklist items — such as receiving a title, completing a bill of sale, or obtaining a lien release
- •Create and assign tasks related to paperwork milestones
- •Log notes and activity related to your document management process
- •Set reminders for registration renewal dates and compliance deadlines
The Hub is a tool to help you stay organized. It does not do the work for you, and it does not interact with any government system or authority.
2. What the Title & Registration Hub Is Not
FlipDash does not file any documents with any government agency, DMV, or motor vehicle department. FlipDash does not process title transfers, submit registration applications, remit fees, or communicate with any state or county authority on your behalf.
The Title & Registration Hub is explicitly not:
- •A DMV, motor vehicle department, or state agency of any kind
- •A licensed title agency, title insurance provider, or title search service
- •A vehicle registration processing service
- •A source of legal advice regarding title defects, ownership disputes, or lien resolution
- •An escrow or third-party payment holding service
- •A document authentication, notarization, or verification service
- •A guarantee of legal compliance with any state's title, registration, or dealer licensing requirements
3. Your Responsibilities
You are solely and entirely responsible for:
- •Ensuring all title transfers, registration applications, and related filings are completed correctly and submitted to the appropriate government agencies
- •Verifying that any title you receive is valid, free of undisclosed liens, and legally transferable under the laws of your state
- •Complying with all federal, state, and local laws governing vehicle ownership, transfer, dealer licensing, and registration
- •Submitting required fees, taxes, and documentation within applicable deadlines
- •Working with a licensed title company, DMV-authorized service, escrow provider, or qualified attorney when your transaction requires it
- •Understanding the specific requirements in your state — title and registration laws vary significantly by jurisdiction
FlipDash does not monitor compliance deadlines on your behalf. Missed filing deadlines, lapsed registrations, or improper title transfers are your responsibility.
4. Document Storage — Important Limitations
The document storage feature within the Title & Registration Hub is provided for your organizational convenience only. You should be aware of the following limitations:
- •FlipDash does not verify the authenticity, completeness, notarization, or legal sufficiency of any document you upload
- •Storing a document in FlipDash does not constitute legal filing, submission, recording, or registration
- •FlipDash is not a document management system of record — maintain your own secure backups of all legally significant documents
- •In the event of account cancellation, documents stored in FlipDash may be deleted after the 90-day retention window
- •Do not rely on FlipDash as your sole or primary storage location for legally required original documents
5. State-by-State Variation
Vehicle title and registration laws vary significantly from state to state. What is required in California may differ from Texas, Florida, or any other jurisdiction. FlipDash does not provide jurisdiction-specific guidance, and the checklist items in the Title & Registration Hub are general-purpose suggestions, not legal requirements.
Always verify the specific requirements with your state's DMV, a licensed title professional, or a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction before completing any transaction.
6. Seek Professional Guidance
For questions about title law, registration requirements, lien releases, salvage title rules, dealer bond requirements, escrow for high-value transactions, or any legal dispute related to vehicle ownership, consult a qualified professional:
- •A licensed title company or title insurance agent
- •A motor vehicle attorney in your state
- •Your state's DMV or motor vehicle authority directly
- •A licensed escrow company for high-value or complex transactions
